Annual Parish Meeting & Annual Meeting of the Parish Council - 11th May 2022

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 11th May 2022, followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council at 7.30 pm.

The Annual Parish meeting typically includes a number of reports and updates on the Parish Council's activities and financial position for the preceding 12 months and has an open forum where parishioners can speak on any matter of local interest.

The Annual meeting of the Parish Council, is the annual meeting where the Council elects the Chair and Vice-Chair and transacts it's formal business.

Parish Council To Get Up & Running Again

After a delay of several months due to circumstances beyond its control, Ashton Parish Council will soon be up and running again.

The council is planning to hold a meeting at 7pm on Tuesday 22 February 2022, its first meeting since last summer. The venue will be confirmed when the agenda for the meeting is published tomorrow (Wednesday).

The parish council has vacancies to fill, so if you would like to be considered, please contact Cllr Mark Richards (, or simply come along to the meeting on Tuesday!
